Re: New Manager

Last three managers all goalkeepers! Feels like a high risk appointment to me but maybe that’s where we’re at from a financial position. Let’s see what coaching team he puts around him and what players stay or go. If the likes of Gray, Deadfield and Donaldson aren’t persuaded to stay then that will...

"The Wednesday" are on it - now named Sheffield Wednesday
"Wimbledon" are on it - now named MK Dons

AFC Wimbledon formed in 2002, impossible they could have won a cup in 1988.

no they don't, just forming a club with a name doesn't give the history.
MK Dons won the FA Cup in 1988 even the goalscorer Laurie Sanchez says so.

Plenty of clubs through history have relocated and changed their name.

Isaac has signed for Eastbourne.
Adam you used to be able to do a job at full back... you've got a couple of months to get fit for pre season.

Re: Club Statement 03/05/24

Regarding the pitch works through the summer, if the current contractor is indeed not being kept on, you would hope an alternative is coming on board. If not, this could have serious reprecussions. The National League were sympathetic to the cancelled artificial pitch last year, allowing the first 7...

Re: Changes to next season

This is stupid. Bringing on 5 subs was done during Covid for obvious reasons. Being able to change half of your outfield team is stupid, when on the other hand their are moans about too many delays and stoppages spoiling the flow of the game. Naming 7 subs at non league is beyond ridiculous. I imagi...

Re: Other NLS News

I know their historically rivals of Hampton, but I really hope the appointment of Harris can get them back on track. It's a disgrace AFC sold Kingsmeadow to Chelsea, when everyone knows they made promises when they moved on they would let K's have it back, I know AFC gave them a sum of money, but it...

I completely agree with you Tony, the 6 club playoff format is ridiculous, it should be 4 clubs like in the EFL.

Re: Review of the Season

I recommended James Roberts to the previous management after seeing him on loan at Alvechurch in the Midlands, Hampton couldn't afford him at the time, but later got him on loan.
He's a class act.

Re: Review of the Season

Malachi Napa currently playing for Sudbury in a relegation battle at step 3.
Depending on where he is based now could that be a realistic target.
