Re: Club Statement 03/05/24

The club owe it to the fans to tell what is going on and what has gone wrong with the grand plan for the future. The brothers, the chairman, the directors, the Supporters Trust or someone at the club needs to come clean and let us know what the future holds for the club! Sorry to say that the Suppo...

Re: New Manager

I was aware that Jools was on the short list. Julian is a really good blole and will be great for the club and supporters. I just hope that he is given the budget and hasn't been handed a poisoned chalice.

Re: News of former players

Is my memory playing up or did we have a player called Paul Butler in the 70's or early 80's who was either deaf or partially deaf? Between 1974/75 & 1985/86 Paul had 4 spells with the club. From what I have read he did have some form of hearing problem. 99 starts 11 subs 42 goals I believehe o...

I suspect he is none the wiser as it seems everyone is in the dark.
Our chat with Jools was on other matters unrelated to the club. He trains our grandson Max who wants to be a keeper.

Doubt it, work would have commenced the day after the season ended.I saw on Twitter that amongst many other clubs working during the summer(!) Hanworth Villa are already refreshing theirs.

The Pitch

We were in the Village this morning for a snack in Chinos. So, we wandered into the ground. Had a chat with Alan Julian who was doing some goalkeeper coaching. Anyway, the pitch. Grass has been cut, but no major work appear to have been carried out yet, reminiscent of last summer. A member of the Sp...

Re: Club Statement 03/05/24

If the budget has been cut, as has been suggested, then that would surely put an end to the plan for training every morning next season.
