Re: Review of the Season

We were able to have midfield runners when we had Clifton last season because of his ability to retain possession and lay the ball off. He was also very clear on how he wanted the ball played to his feet rather than hoofed over head height. That made a big difference. Not sure we have played to the ...

Re: 24/25 season ticket prices frozen...

I can't see why the club are getting flack for this. Follow the details and it's quite clear. They are a little ambiguous. If you were a season ticket holder for 23/24 and also had been pre 23/24 then you need to follow the instructions for pre 23/24 to get the best price. Whether you have to follo...

Re: Review of the Season

Agree with Josh2002's assessment. However, if Hunt's injuries were behind him I think he made quite a difference when in the team.

Re: Review of the Season

A string of poor results cost us the playoff place. Seems a bit unfair to blame it on the inexperience of some players. Mel picks the team at the end of the day. It would be interesting to compare the tactics from when we were on the good run to what they were come the end of the season. In the Octo...

Josh2002 wrote: Sat Apr 20, 2024 4:29 pm Quite frankly, with our form in the second half of the season we don’t deserve play offs. In such a good position and thrown away completely.
At the end of the day, we don't score enough goals. Defensively we are decent.

Even if someone likes to dress the team in this kit, they surely have to admit it's not producing results in the run in.

Yep, I would imagine 3G plans have been shelved. Perhaps floodlights too if the brothers are looking at alternate facilities.
