Re: Social Media

Jamie wrote: Fri May 31, 2024 5:05 pm I have to say the videos the media team have been putting together for player signings are very impressive, and well above the level we sit out.
Big credit to them, great work!
Where are these posted ? Not seen any.

Re: New Manager

If the rumoured budget level is correct then suspect that Revan, Thomas etc could need to be off loaded even if they were under contract.

Re: New Manager

It makes you wonder why so much money was wasted last season in building a side to push for promotion only for it to all be undone in the last few games. The fans are now being asked to support a team next season that are clearly going to struggle and probably be relegated. Has no one at the club d...

Re: Fastest growing club in London!

But what was the impact on the bottom line and sustainability of the club ? Current events would suggest we are needing to cut our cloth quite differently for next season.

Re: More Changes?

As Phil was on the main board I think it was a fair assumption to assume he still ran the Trust. Why isn't the new chairman on the board? The directors of the club are now reduced to Simon Davers, Ben Hudson, Will King, Jacques Le Bar and James Newman. So I think it is safe to assume the new chair ...

Re: More Changes?

I can only guess at the motivation for shareholders, many of whom are U.S. based and presumably have limited knowledge of non league football. By their own admitance, the brothers sold a story (possibly their core competence) and no doubt played on the 'real Ted Lasso' for the U.S. contingent. Unli...

Re: More Changes?

I suspect we will see and hear less from the brothers who haven't proved to be the management gurus they would have us think.

Re: More Changes?

This ties into what Ben Hudson was saying yesterday. Clearly too many cooks spoiling the broth and yet no-one seemingly paying too much attention to what was being spent. The removal of Chelsea fan Scott Forbes may also allow a return to a proper kit next season ;)

Re the Ben Hudson interview, it was interesting to hear him cite Alfy Whittingham as one of the kind of players he wanted to see playing for us. What a pity Mel didn't agree.
I thought he said Wassmer.

Re: New Manager

Compared to the Ben Hudson interview, that was very uninformative.
