Re: St. Albans, away...
The communication from the club needs to improve very quickly.....
I am not sure how communication priorities are set. I don't see what the club put on Twitter because I've deleted it but on YouTube we get highlights (which is important and should be a priority) but also a lot of pitchside ...

Re: Enfield away
I don't see the brothers getting any new investment. They had their chance and blew it so just aren't credible. They need to move on and they can take #HAMRICH with them.Shepperton Supporter wrote: Wed Mar 12, 2025 12:48 pm If the brothers cannot or won’t get in further investment then the club will just run out of funds.

Re: Enfield away
The inference from the manager's post match comments is that some players have stopped trying now that the season is effectively over.
Alan Julian has been doing a good job and we are trying to play decent football but surely it is his job to try and motivate the players. Also perhaps this ...

Re: Club Accounts
In hindsight, it's a great pity that so much has been wasted on a failed promotion bid when it could have sustained the club at this level for a number of years with a more measured approach to development.
I think this is the crux of it. Although the brothers claim it was all the investors ...

Re: Club Accounts
I tipped off Kieran Maguire some time ago that he might want to look into HRBFC finances. I wonder if he will now do that. I can't see the comments as I deleted X. Anything interesting ?
Yesterday's edition of The Price of Football podcast gave its expert verdict on the HRBFC losses as 'Money ...

Probably why they are so invisible these days.Tony wrote: Mon Mar 03, 2025 9:41 pm A £1.1M loss is not exactly the sort of publicity I would be hoping for.

Re: Club Accounts
I think all they were interested in was self publicity. The only skill they seem to have is spinning a yarn about themselves.Lord Elpus wrote: Mon Mar 03, 2025 6:26 pm So given all that, where do we currently stand with the brothers then? Are they even still interested?

Re: Club Accounts
....
At least the owners were spending their own money. ....
Are you sure this is true?
Or have they effectively used the money of others to build up a debt which is now owed to them?
I don't think the brothers put much, if any, money in. Maybe they took some out though.
Myself and ...

Re: Club Accounts
Seems to confirm that the brothers played loose with the investors money. Apart from some ineffective and probably expensive hires, it is still very difficult to see how £600k+ was spent on infrastructure.

Re: Chesham Utd Tonight. Home.
How did the ref miss the shove before subsequently awarding the penalty ? Thought he had a poor game. I agree plenty of pressure in second half but too often we are putting (admittedly decent looking) balls into the box without really having the players to compete to get on the end of them.

Re: Squad change
Very good update. We are lucky that Ben has been involved and able to pick up the pieces from last season. It's good to know a grown up is in charge.
