Re: The Pitch

Not a good sign that their contract is not being renewed given the much improved quality of the pitch.

Re: Club Statement 03/05/24

I see today that Chris Davies stepped down as a director of the club. I don't know anything about him but he was appointed when the brothers took over and I note now he is the founder of one of our sponsors, Uncommon. Just another worrying bit of info to add to the pile... Seems to hold 136 B share...

Re: Club Statement 03/05/24

The brothers seem to have setup some new companies recently. Richmond Brands Limited, Rogue Brand Ventures Limited and Aghori Ventures Limited. Maybe they are also on the way out.

Re: Club Statement 03/05/24

Listened again to Mel's comments after the defeat at Maidstone. Says he'll start working on next season now. I wonder what changed.

Hmmm. On that note, wasn't Sam Cox supposed to have been in Ted Lasso as an extra? That probably seals it...
I already noted that Armando could be appointed

Re: Club Statement 03/05/24

The brothers Tweedle do seem a little quiet at present. Perhaps recent events don't play into their narrative.

Re: Club Statement 03/05/24

Seems to me that more is going on here. Mel seemed such an integral part of what the brothers were trying to do so a bit of a shock despite the failure to reach the playoffs. Timing is bad in terms of recruitment for next season.

Re: Review of the Season

We were able to have midfield runners when we had Clifton last season because of his ability to retain possession and lay the ball off. He was also very clear on how he wanted the ball played to his feet rather than hoofed over head height. That made a big difference. Not sure we have played to the ...
