DIRECTIONS
By car: The Dripping Pan is at the very start of Mountfield Road, directly behind the station. If you are coming from the north or west, turn off the A27 for Lewes and turn right (signposted Rodmell and Piddinghoe) after about a mile at the first set of traffic lights, adjacent to the prison. Follow that road until you get to a mini roundabout by The Swan pub and turn left. Continue along this road leads to the ground.

Parking: There are limited car parking spaces in the Sussex Downs College and Priory School car parks down Mountfield Road past the ground. Metered street parking is available and there is a pay and display car park directly outside the ground but please be aware that Lewes has quite a number of 'keen' traffic wardens patrolling the town so please purchase a ticket where required.

By Train: There is a direct London train approximately every 30 minutes to Victoria, via Gatwick Airport and Clapham Junction. For more information check http://nationalrail.co.uk Lewes railway station is about a two minute walk from the Dripping Pan. When you exit the main entrance, turn left and follow the path over the bridge. The ground will be in front of you.

Away Supporters: Walk down Mountfield Road, past the main entrance to the end of the flint wall, and turn right at Ham Lane where there is a turnstile for away supporters. The Dripping Pan has a bar in which you can sample a pint of fine Harveys beer brewed in the town, and a number of refreshment outlets.

STADIUM
The Dripping Pan, one of the larger grounds in the division, is also unique. The pitch is surrounded by grass banks on all sides, although stands have been built into the banks on two sides. The clubhouse serves Harveys Beer, which is brewed in the town.

The site has been used as a home for the football club since their formation and was previously used by the local cricket team. For an interesting article about the stadium and the origins of the large banks and mounts behind the goals, see here.
